On the Road Again

I left today on my longest road trip yet - 9 months. I'm headed to New Zealand (via Hong Kong) where I'll be fishing and visiting wineries for a couple of months, then I'm off to Australia where I'll spend 6 months traveling around the continent. Inspired to a large degree by the book

In a Sunburned Country by Bill Bryson

I'm determined to really get to know this country.

It's only hit me in the last few days that 9 months is a very long time. I remember when I was a kid going to summer camp I got so homesick after just a couple days. Hopefully I've grown out of that! Posted by Bruce on October 5, 2006 3:49 PM

Bruce,

Check out the Daintree River Area! My wife and I were married on Kewarra Beach just noth of Cairns, Queensland.

Oh, And don't forget to visit Frazier Island.!
